Alright and for part two of this post, the part that probably is making you all scroll pas the top part, my Hunger Games review. As all of you should know the movie The Hunger Games, based of the book by Suzanne Collins, just hit the silver screen last night/ this morning. I was fortunate enough to go out this afternoon and watch the movie for myself. While I did read the book almost four years ago, I do remember a great deal about it, and the movie did a great job of portraying the wonderful novel.
The movie stuck fairly close to the true plot of The Hunger Games and for that I truly applaud its creators. If there was one comment I could make, it would be that a bit too much time was spent on the beginning and not quite enough on the end of the story. Besides that, I thought that this was a wonderful interpretation of the novel and everyone who read the book should watch the movie. Even those who did not read the book should watch the movie, though I think those who read the book will have a greater appreciation for what was done. Especially how well done they dressed up those who lived in the Capitol, I mean spot on job costume designers. Honestly, one of my new favorite movies!!!!!! Also Jennifer Lawrence did a great job of acting as Katniss Everdeen. You all should expect me to do a re-read of this novel and see a review in the next few months. I will probably re-read the entire series!
I give the movie:
9/10 - 9.5/10
(My Reason: Sometimes the pace dragged and the whole beginnign to end ratio.)
